In 2015, I was looking for a new way to talk about personal style. I founded a blog called ‘Sartreuse’ as an attempt to log my purchases and style choices. It was a frenzy – a curiosity cabinet of my personal purchases, philosophical analyses and haphazard reviews and judgments. The blog became known for its attempt at a ‘Five Piece French Wardrobe’. After a while, I felt stuck and uninspired.

Now, I have revamped ‘Sartreuse’. This time I am more interested in a collective pursuit towards personal style with a focus on an ethical and simple approach. Inspired by all things that enhance the essence of style and direct itself towards enhancing beauty, such as art, literature, the sun and flowers, this blog offers a glimpse of what it means to choose less to have more.
